Message from our Superintendent…. Good Evening We have been made aware of a national Tiktok trend encouraging students to commit acts of violence in school, tomorrow, December 17th. It is our understanding the video has since been removed. This is one of many challenges circulating around social media sites. District Administration and the Sharon Police Department are aware of the situation and exercising precaution, but there has been no threat towards our schools at this time. Additional Sharon Police Department officers will be onsite and patrolling the area tomorrow during the school day. The District takes threats very seriously and the safety of our students and staff is a priority. We are watching the situation closely and will communicate with staff and families should additional concerns arise. We encourage you to have discussions with your children about the impact and influence of social media and the importance of keeping our community safe. Thank You
