Families wishing to change their child's instructional option (in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person) must complete the Change in Instructional Placement form, a link to which can be found as part of the above mentioned letter, by Friday, January 15, 2021.
On January 15th the students may wear JEANS to school for $1.00. The money collected from this fundraiser will go to buying prizes for our school wide behavior program. The Sharon City School District, Sharon PA, is seeking candidates for the open position of Boys’ Soccer Varsity/Junior Varsity Head Coach to lead our 2A program. Candidates should have high school coaching experience; collegiate playing/coaching experience is welcomed. Preferred candidates would have prior head coaching experience as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the community level and building to the varsity team. The head coach will be responsible for assembling their coaching staff, coordinating the Varsity, JV, and Middle School Programs with the Athletic Director, as well as the off-season programs in accordance with District 10/PIAA regulations. This is a reminder that Sharon Schools will return to in-person instruction, tomorrow, Monday, January 4, 2021. Students returning in in=person learning are reminded to bring their Chromebooks and charging devices back to school tomorrow. We hope you will consider joining us for a fun and festive Holiday Parade on Monday, December 21st. The purpose of our first-ever Holiday Parade is to bring some much needed smiles and holiday cheer to our students and staff as well.
We will start our parade at West Hill Elementary School and follow the timeline below.

2:15-2:30 - West Hill Streets that are East of Sharpsville Avenue
East Silver Street, 5th Ave, 4th Avenue, 3rd Avenue, 2nd Avenue, 1st Avenue, Watson and Brooklyn
2:35-2:50 - West Hill streets that are North of West State Street
Ellsworth, Madison, Andrew, Russell, Curtis, Wilson and Lincoln
2:55-3:15- West Hill Streets that are South of West State Street
Sterling, South Irvine, Erie, South Stateline, Logan, Bell, Lorain (North of Logan), Ohio (North of Logan), Nimick, Columbia (North of Logan), B Street and A Street (North of Logan).

3rd Grade Students - The Sharon Rotary has bought our 3rd grade students dictionaries. Each 3rd grade student can receive a dictionary by coming to the school on December 21 or 22 from 11am - 12 pm when they pick up their lunch in the cafeteria. Just ask for your dictionary!
