
Juniors and Seniors: The College Board is CANCELING the MAY 2, 2020, SAT administration. Makeup exams for the March 14 administration (scheduled for March 28) ARE ALSO CANCELED. Refunds will be provided to all students who were registered for May, whose March test centers were closed, or who do not receive March scores due to an irregularity.
ETS will provide future additional SAT testing opportunities for students as soon as feasible in place of canceled administrations. The June 6, 2020 SAT administration has not been cancelled and ETS will continue to assess its status."

Sharon Parents: Please visit the district's website or phone app for updated information updated today -Sunday, March 15 which will provide guidance in regard to our response to the COVID 19 school closure. Please be reminded that all schools are closed until March 30, 2020.

Case Avenue Parents: Due to the closure of the schools today due to the Corona Virus crisis the Case Avenue Mother Son Event scheduled for tomorrow, March 14 has been canceled and rescheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020. Information on the event will be provided once school resumes.

Scheduled 2020-21 Kindergarten registration dates for the Sharon City School District have been cancelled. We will announce rescheduled dates as the COVID 19 situation allows.

As per directives from the Office of the Governor, all extracurricular and interscholastic activities, including practices have been cancelled for the duration of the 3-16 through 3-27 school closing period.

Corrected:Please be advised. Gov. Wolf has declared that all Pennsylvania schools are closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through and including Friday, March 27 due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We are working to develop plans for food and instruction during this shutdown.

Congratulations to SHS Senior Sully Allen on claiming the PIAA Northwest Regional Championship at 152lbs. With the win, Sully will complete for a State title in Hershey. Also representing the Tigers at Regionals were: Eli Buck, 132lbs; Nick Dignall 6th place 145lbs.

Congratulations to Sharon's Gianna Labbiento who placed 2nd the the girls 3000m race at the PTFCA Indoor Championships. As a result of her finish, Gianna will be running in the State Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 1 at Penn State University's Track & Field complex.

Congratulations to the Sharon High Boys Basketball team on earning a spot in the PIAA District 10 3A semi-finals. The game, versus Franklin, will be played on Tuesday, February 25 at 7:30pm at Slippery Rock University.

Congratulations to these Sharon wrestlers who earned medals at this weekend's Section 2AA championships and who will wrestle for District 10 titles next weekend: Sully Allen, 152lb Champion; Eli Buck 132 5th ; Nick Dignall 145 6th; Aiden Buck 182 6th; Seth Evans 160 7th, Andrew Price 220 7th.

C. M. Musser Elementary has been named a 2019-20 Title I Distinguished School. To receive this honor, a school had to show sustained academic growth for two consecutive years on the PSSAs, while being part of the Title I program. Congratulations to our Musser students and staff!

Congratulations to Sharon High senior Sully Allen for earning his 100th career win last night with a pin in 52 seconds against Sharpsville High.

Congratulations to Lane Voytik, QB; Ty Eilam WR and Corte Williams DL for being selected to the District 10 All Star Team. The team was selected by the Erie Times-News for the 2019 season.

Congratulations to the Sharon High Robotics team on advancing to the semi-finals in this weekend's qualifying tournament in Johnstown PA. This was the team's first qualifying tournament of the 2019-20 season.

The C. M. Musser and West Hill Robotics teams swept the top two places at this weekend's FIRST Lego League tournament which was held at Penn State Behrend in Erie. The West Hill Tiger Techs placed 1st, advancing them to the World Festival and the CM Musser team placed second!
